That woman is HOT!

Hello, Everyone, My name is SilenceInTheLibrary, or Chris, which i would prefer. Now, i'm not a gore fanatic, i prefer psychological and survival. But i do know Saw basics, and i wanted to address the murder of Joyce Dagen in Bobby's test-it's not Saw strategy.

By this point, it seems Hoffman was running the games, but still, tests are tests, and he didn't deviate from them like Amanda did. You see, Joyce was innocent, as stated by Jigsaw in that very test. The point of a Jigsaw test is to make someone appreciate their lives more, or to correct them somehow, even the save-a-life victims. However, this was not the case with Joyce. Despite her being the good in the life of Bobby Dagen, she was still given a horribly cruel, slow, death by roasting. It would have been torturous and HIGHLY undeserved. The death of Joyce was murder, cruel murder, without any sort of loophole that even John Kramer could have found.

I find it very logical that Bobby could have "never seen her again" by killing him off, or trapping him and leaving Joyce in safety. It seems like the path Jigsaw would take.

Instead, we witness yet another death. And yet, Bobby himself is apparently still freaking alive today. This was a major upset to me, even more so than is usual for Saw. I know it's Saw, and all the stupid and horrible people live while the good ones get splattered all over the walls. But really now?

I want to point out that Joyce's part in the test negates the entire ****ing point of a JIGSAW TRAP!!!!! (i won't ever use that language again, i promise)

This death made me beat my head against the wall. Sadly, i didn't bleed.

Burnt joyce

No, seriously. She brings a whole new meaning to "hot".

Ironically, Bobby was forced to use every sense he had witnessing the death of the only innocent character. In a twisted way, it's almost related to the themes at hand during Bobby's tests. He saw it (see no evil), he heard her screams (hear no evil), his words did nothing and neither did hers (speak no evil) and he definitely would have smelled it (smell no evil, although Jigsaw never applies that). How cruel.

How did you feel about Joyce's death?

Additional note- while Joyce's death made me seriously furious, I ROFLMAO'd when Jigsaw brought Bobby's book to life. How sarcastic he was (i could feel it!) when he stated that Bobby's pectorals were "easily strong enough to hold [his] weight."

Closing message- Saw is, well, not as big a part of my life as Silent Hill and Resident Evil, but hey, I get into it enough. As per this wiki, however, I still have to spend time getting the gist of RE. So, I probably won't be as active on here as I'd like. But don't worry, despite my username, I am never silent! message me sometime!
