Tom Robinson is a fictional character from the Saw franchise. He serves as a minor character in Saw: The Video Game.

Not much is known about Tom Robinson's past. However, one day he was targeted by John Kramer, better known as the Jigsaw Killer. After abducting him, he took him to the abandoned Whitehurst Insane Asylum. There, Jigsaw lay his unconscious body on a table in an operating room, along with the bodies of Marvin Johnson and Jim Aumen, as well as Arney Faulkner, who was already dead. Jigsaw forced one of his victims to cut open Arney's body and hide a bunch of razor wire as well as a key in his stomach before sewing him up again. (Saw: The Video Game)

David Tapp's Test

His corpse and the other three men later became a part of a deadly game that Jigsaw had prepared for Detective David Tapp at the abandoned asylum. On his way through the hospital, Tapp entered the operating room, where he found Arney's corpse and the three naked and sedated bodies of the other men. All four of them lay on operating tables and were covered with surgical drapes. Over the loudspeakers, Jigsaw told Tapp that one of the bodies contained a key required to progress. However, he also warned him that there'd be consequences if he chose the wrong one. By taking a look at some x-rays on the walls and the tags at the men's toes, Tapp quickly found out that the key was in the body of Arney Faulkner. With a scalpel from a table, Tapp cut open the body and obtained it. (Saw: The Video Game)

Not much can be said about Tom Robinson's personality due to his short screen time.

  • While his fate is dependent on the player's choice, his survival is most likely canonical as the use of the x-rays and toe tags made it easy for Tapp to find the right body.
