Tom Robinson is a fictional character from the Saw franchise. He was a minor character in Saw: The Video Game.

Biography[]

Abduction[]

Not much is known about Tom Robinson's past. However, one day, he was targeted by John Kramer, better known as the Jigsaw Killer. After abducting him, he took him to the abandoned Whitehurst Insane Asylum. There, Jigsaw placed his unconscious body on a table in an operating room alongside the bodies of Marvin Johnson, Jim Aumen, and Arney Faulkner. The killer forced one of his victims to cut open Arney's body and hide a bunch of razor wire and a key in his stomach before sewing him up again. (Saw: The Video Game)

David Tapp's Test[]

The bodies became a part of a deadly game that Jigsaw had prepared for Detective David Tapp at the abandoned asylum. On his way through the hospital, Tapp entered the operating room, where he found the naked bodies. All four lay on operating tables and were covered with surgical drapes. Over the loudspeakers, Jigsaw informed Tapp that one of the bodies contained a key required to progress. However, he also warned him about the consequences if he chose the wrong one. By looking at some X-rays on the walls and the tags at the men's toes, Tapp quickly found out that the key was in the body of Arney Faulkner, who was, in fact, the only one who was already dead. With a scalpel from a table, Tapp cut open the body and obtained the key. (Saw: The Video Game)

Personality[]

Not much can be said about Tom Robinson's personality due to his short screen time.

Trivia[]

  • While his fate depends on the player's choice, Tom's survival is likely canonical, as using the X-rays and toe tags made it easy for Tapp to find the right body.
