You can think of them on your own or find them online, on forums, wikipedia, etc. As long as they're logical and you have some sort of evidence to back up the possibility then it's probably suitble for being added as a theory. Robert 17:01, 3 November 2008 (EST)
How did Hoffman find out...[]
What I don't understand is, how did Hoffman know that Amanda was Cecil's girlfriend? Or even knowing that, that she was there with him at the time, and that it was her who pressured him to break in? +Yc 07:56, November 1, 2012 (UTC)
Why did Amanda kill lynn?[]
I don't understand why amanda killed lynn.
Hoffmann wrote her the letter where he clearly put that she has to do anything he says or he will tell john what she did.
Yes, okay I get that. She wouldn't want john to find out. But here's the thing.
At the point in the movie where she read the letter ( what if she didn't find it btw.; I recall that she found it out of a coincidence.) or atleast at the point where she fired the shot at lynn, it was rather obvious that john would die before he could see hoffmann again.
Lol why writing I realized the answer to my question. I still put it on here if anyone wonders the same in the future.
In the end John only dies because of that guy cutting his throat.
If Amanda doesn't read the letter:
Lynn 'saves' john. john tells her to free Lynn. She does. the guy comes in. sees his wife. everyone happy.
Jigsaw tells him congratulations. Will you forgive me? Yeah nothing happened (?). Ok your daughter is hidden in the next room.
Hoffmann comes in later. finds john. tells john about amanda. fail.
