Synnøve Macody Lund (born May 24, 1976) is a Norwegian journalist, film critic, model, and actress best known for her roles in Headhunters, Ragnarok, Riviera, and the Saw franchise.
She played Dr. Cecilia Pederson in Saw X.
Early Life[]
Synnøve Macody Lund was born in Stord, Norway, on May 24, 1976. She has a degree in television production and film studies.
Career[]
Following her early career as a fashion model, Lund has worked as a journalist and film critic for NATT&DAG. Since 2011, she pursued a professional acting career and first appeared as Diana Brown in Morten Tyldum's Headhunters, an action thriller based on the eponymous novel by Jo Nesbø.
Her subsequent roles have included Sara in the short film The Sandcastle in 2014 and Tonje Sandvik in the drama series Frikjent in 2015. The following year, she played the murderous Johanne Rønningen in Black Widows, a remake of the Finnish series Mustat Lesket. Lund also portrayed Gabriella Grane in the 2018 film The Girl in the Spider's Web.
As of 2012, there was a report that Lund had contracted with the publisher Samlaget to produce a novel. Her book "Personar du kanskje kjenner" was published in 2016.
In December 2022, Deadline Hollywood confirmed Lund's appearance as Cecilia Pederson in Saw X, the tenth installment of the Saw film series, released in September 2023.
