Naomi Snieckus (born February 24, 1974) is a Canadian actress and comedian best known for her roles in Mr. D and the Saw franchise.

She played Nina in Saw 3D.

Career[]

Naomi Snieckus is an actress, writer, improviser, voice-over artist, director, and teacher. She studied at the University of Waterloo and Ryerson Theatre School before moving to Vancouver for five years. Snieckus has won six CCA awards, an ACTRA, and a Canadian Screen Awards nomination. An alumna of The Second City's Toronto company, she later formed the improvisational comedy troupes National Theatre of the World with Ron Pederson and Matt Baram and Impromptu Splendor with Pederson, Baram, and Kayla Lorette. She also had several guest appearances on television series and commercials until her roles in Saw 3D and Mr. D.

In 2014, she appeared as a lead character in Two 4 One. The following year, she and her husband, Matt Baram, created an improv duo show called Baram & Snieckus: You & Me. Snieckus won a Canadian Comedy Award as Best Female Improviser in 2010 and is a two-time Canadian Screen Award nominee as Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for Mr. D.
