Malcolm Neil is a fictional character from the Saw franchise as well as a minor character in Jigsaw.

Biography

Early Life

Malcolm Neil was a depraved gambler. Due to his frequent bets he ended up owing someone money but never paid his debt. Therefore the person to whom Malcolm owed money killed his wife in front of him at home. Malcolm was later arrested but was helped by Halloran to not be sent to prison for his gambling. (Jigsaw)

Ten years after a game created by Jigsaw, one of the test subjects in said game - Logan Nelson - decided to recreate it using criminals that were previously aided by Halloran. Malcolm and two others were chosen and abducted by Logan. (Jigsaw)

Death

Malcolm and the other two prisoners awoke in an industrial room after their game is started by Edgar Munsen. They are pulled towards a wall of circular saws by chains around their necks. The other two prisoner pass their test by cutting themselves on the blades, but Malcolm fails. He is then mutilated by the saws and fatally half-decapitated. (Jigsaw)

Post-Mortem

After his death, Logan cuts a jigsaw piece from his neck and attaches a flash drive with the phrase "and then there were four" written on it, as a reference to the original game. Logan then hangs his body off a bridge in a park, where it is discovered the next morning. The corpse is taken to the morgue where Logan and Eleanor perform an autopsy on it. To cover up his involvement, Logan injects John Kramer's blood underneath Malcolm's fingernails to make it appear as though he is behind the new murders. (Jigsaw)
