“ | She seemed as distraught as anyone would be about the death of her unborn son. My gut feeling is that she couldn't possibly be involved - she just doesn't fit the killer profile and displays outward emotion when asked about the incident. | ” |

Dr. Jill Tuck is a fictional character from the Saw franchise. She is one of the unseen characters in the series.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Jill Tuck was a doctor who ran a free recovery clinic for drug addicts. She was the wife of John Kramer, a successful civil engineer and founder of Gideon, a foundation dedicated to property development for needy people. Their life took a happy turn when Jill got pregnant by him. John, who had already meticulously planned that their son should be born during the Chinese Year of the Pig, also gave him his name, Gideon, inspired by his company. Despite their happiness, John soon started to worry about Jill, who continued to work at the clinic even during her pregnancy. (Saw II: Flesh & Blood)
Family Tragedy[]
One night, Cecil Adams, one of Jill's patients, tried to rob her. He threatened Jill with a pair of scissors, forcing her to open the door to the drug supplies. After she obeyed his order, Cecil told her to stand back. He quickly stole the medications and then ran back. Upon doing so, he accidentally slammed a doorknob into the doctor's stomach. As she saw the blood on her skirt, she slumped down and started to cry. When he realized what he had done, Cecil quickly fled and left Jill behind. Due to her injuries, Jill ultimately lost her unborn child. After Gideon's death, John suffered from severe depression, which eventually caused him to withdraw from his wife and the company. (Saw II: Flesh & Blood)
Cecil Adams' Death[]
Shortly afterward, John's physical condition worsened. When he went to a hospital, the oncologist Dr. Lawrence Gordon diagnosed him with a frontal lobe tumor. When telling him about his diagnosis, Gordon clarified that he was not expecting his patient to survive. Thereby, John realized that he had only learned to cherish his life when his death was imminent. Because of this, John chose to spend the remaining time of his life testing other people's will to live, hoping that this would convince them to value their lives and the lives of those around them. However, his newly discovered will to live could not reunite him and Jill. At this time, John focused on other people's lives and chose Cecil Adams as his first test subject. During this test, Cecil died of blood loss after falling into a cage filled with razor wire.
Sometime later, David Tapp, a homicide detective who worked for the Metropolitan Police Department, visited Jill Tuck in her apartment to question her about Cecil's assault on her. Although she was still distraught by the loss of her unborn son, she answered his questions and revealed to him that she had planned to call her child Gideon. When Tapp asked her about the father, Jill told him it was John Kramer. Due to her emotional state and willingness to cooperate with the detective, Tapp immediately doubted that she was the killer. These doubts were confirmed when her alibi for the time of another murder committed by Jigsaw proved accurate, as she had worked at the free clinic that night. (Saw II: Flesh & Blood)
