Jeffrey Stephen "Jeff" Shuter (September 17, 1981 - November 10, 2022) was a director, producer, composer, and voice actor best known for several digital graphic novels, such as 28 Days Later: The Aftermath and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
He voiced Zep Hindle in Saw: Rebirth, was one of its directors and producers, and composed the soundtrack for the comic.
Career[]
Jeff Shuter was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and attended the Performance Studies Program at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. He focused on adapting literature to various mediums, utilizing ethnographic research and methods.
He developed and adapted several graphic novel motion comic series throughout his career, including Robert Kirkman's Invincible and Stan Lee's Time Jumper.
On November 10, 2022, Jeff Shuter died after a traumatic brain injury.
