Ishan Morris, also known by his stage name iSH, is a Canadian actor, recording artist, and singer.
Early Life[]
Ishan Morris was born to a Jamaican father and an Irish mother. He spent his early years traveling, splitting most of his time between Canada and Jamaica. He later moved to the Cayman Islands and then, after high school, moved to New York City to attend the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts. His grandfather was a well-known calypso singer in Jamaica, and his father Ras Lee's single "Moonlight Lover" was nominated in Canada for a Juno Award in 1986 for Best Reggae Song.
Career[]
After graduation, Morris launched an acting career and appeared in numerous commercials, films, and TV shows. He starred in the television series Soul alongside Keshia Chante and landed a recurring role in The Family Channel's series Baxter. Morris also played Alex in Saw 3D, the seventh film in the Saw franchise.
Growing up in a musical family, Morris developed a love for music at a young age. His first single, "Falling in Love With You," broke the top 40 position on Canadian radio and Mediabase charts. He has released the mixtape "The Name is iSH" alongside his successful single "Priceless" from his debut album The First Impression on Northern Heights Records. Additionally, Grandson and Son directed and shot a music video for "Priceless" on the Cayman Islands. Besides that, Morris collaborated with artists like Cory Lee, Robyn, and La Roux.
