Diana and Alison at their neighbors' apartment

This man lived in an apartment along with his wife and his daughter. One night, their distressed neighbors, Alison and Diana Gordon, came to them after they escaped from Zep Hindle, a man who had held them hostage in their apartment for the past hours. Furthermore, Alison's husband, Dr. Lawrence Gordon, had been abducted and taken to an unknown location. Therefore, the man and his family immediately let them take shelter in their apartment. While his wife and daughter took care of them, the father called the Metropolitan Police Department and informed them about the events. Afterward, he went back to the others in the living room and tried to calm his guests down, assuring them that the police would find Lawrence. Diana then embraced her mother, still frightened by the traumatic experience and her anxiety about her father. (Saw)

The father was a helpful, responsible, and caring man. Therefore, he and his family offered the Gordons shelter in their apartment and tried to make them feel as comfortable as possible. Due to his neighbors' fear and distress, he gave his best to keep a cool head as he didn't want to unsettle them even further.
