Elizabeth Timpe is a fictional character from the Saw franchise. She is one of the unseen characters in the series.

Biography[]

Death[]

Not much is known about Elizabeth Timpe's past, although it can be assumed that she was either a patient or a worker of the Whitehurst Insane Asylum before it was closed. When she died, she was buried in the asylum's graveyard. (Saw: The Video Game)

David Tapp's Test[]

Years later, her grave was used by John Kramer, better known as the Jigsaw Killer, for one of his games. This game focused on David Tapp, a former homicide detective. The latter became obsessed with Jigsaw after his partner, Detective Steven Sing, was killed in one of his traps.

When Tapp reached the asylum's cemetery, he was informed by Jigsaw to look for a key in Sing's grave. Tapp began searching the graveyard and saw several boxes on each tomb. Each box, except for one, was connected to a nail bomb. Knowing that they would detonate and he could only open the box on Sing's grave, Tapp looked for his partner's tomb and eventually received the key to the Cedar Ward. (Saw: The Video Game)

Trivia[]

  • While this is not confirmed, Elizabeth was likely a relative of Edward Timpe. The latter was a member of the Happy Thoughts Quartet, a boys' choir which used to perform music in Whitehurst's theater.
