The Disembowelment Trap is a trap from the Saw franchise, appearing in Saw X.
Design and Function[]
The trap consists of a device design to slash the lower abdominal open with 5 sharp blades on a large mechanical box connected to the then hung up person by leather straps. It's unknown how the sharp tools would have actually reached the wearer's stomach as they appear to just move in a non-moving pattern though flesh cutting can be briefly heard before the scene cuts to black meaning the sharp side was the side facing the wearer and the scalpel like objects would move back and slowly dig into the stomach, disemboweling the test subject. No instructions are given for the test and it’s unknown if it was winnable though it isn't fully like John Kramer to create a purposefully unwinnable trap so it is possible instructions were given off screen.

Henry Kessler's Test[]
The victim of this trap was Henry Kessler. a man working for The Pederson Project, a company founded by Dr. Cecilia Pederson, with the goal of tricking sick people into thinking that their diseases can be cured with an special treatment and so scam them out of their money. Henry's job was to go into cancer support meetings faking to have cancer himself in order to meet new targets for the group. Henry had recently met John Kramer, alias the Jigsaw Killer, in one of these meetings and ended up recommending The Pederson Project's to him, claiming it managed to cure him from his alleged pancreatic cancer. John ultimately ended up traveling to Mexico and received the treatment, but no long after found out about the truth behind it, which prompted him to make the members of the Pederson Project his next targets. After setting up a game for them, John returned to the United States, and with the help of Detective Mark Hoffman, one of his accomplices, he located and kidnapped Henry for his very own test.
Henry was taken to an abandoned, underground bathroom, gagged, without his shirt and hanging from the ceiling, along with the device attached to his abdomen. When the lights turned on, Henry woke up and panicked. John slowly approached him and teased him, looking at his now intact belly and asking him where was his scar. Hoffman turned Henry facing the other side, and while removing his gag, mocked him for choosing John out of all men to cheat, to which in his opinion was "epic bad luck". Henry begged John to not kill him, to which John replied that he wouldnt need to worry about that, and that he wanted to play a game. Suddenly, the device activated and its blades began rotating, while descending towards Henry's abdomen, prompting him to scream (Saw X)
