Biography[]
Marv Bozwick's Test[]
The Conductor was a man working as a train conductor in a series of Subway Tunnels. (Spiral)
Years after the death of John Kramer, better known as the Jigsaw Killer, William Emmerson decided to take his mantle in order to murder corrupt cops and avenge his father, Charlie Emmerson, who was unfairly killed by one of them. Unbeknown to the conductor, the Subway Tunnels would end up becoming the location for William's first game, from which the victim was Detective Marv Bozwick, a homicide detective from the Metropolitan Police Department that lied and put innocent people in jail. William abducted Marv in the Subway Tunnels after being lured into there by a criminal named Benny Wrights. The trap consisted of Boz being stranded in a wooden stepstool with his hands tied by barbed wire and his tongue being attached to a metal contraption.
After untying his hands Bozwick grabbed the metal contraption and vainly tried to pull it off in an attempt of get it off of his tongue. The conductor kept approaching to Marv and was too distracted drinking coffee to notice him. After noticing the train, Bozwick got desperate and continued struggling to get the metal contraption off of his tongue, but once the train got closer enough to him, Bozwick startled and accidentally jumped off the stepstool, causing his tongue to be teared out by the contraption. However, right when he was falling to the ground, Bozwick got run over by the train, tearing him to pieces. The conductor stopped the train and observed the remains of Bozwick that were splattered in the train's window in horror, as he just realized what happened.
Because of this, the train conductor decided to report Bozwick's death to the Metropolitan Police Department. However, as he didn't recognize who he was, he told the police that he was a homeless man. The conductor drove his train away from the scene in order to allow the cops to investigate. When further investigation confirmed the identity of the victim, the conductor informed he didn't see much before the catastrophe, other than Boz hanging from the air before hitting windshield, and him bleeding from the mouth badly.
