Charles Carlyle is a fictional character from the Saw franchise. He is one of the unseen characters in the series.

Biography

Terminal Diagnosis

Not much is known about Charles Carlyle's past. However, one day he was diagnosed with astrocytoma, a type of brain cancer, by the renowned oncologist Dr. Lawrence Gordon. Carlyle was classified as a terminal patient with barely any chance of surviving his disease, probably because it had entered a terminal state due to being diagnosed too late. (Saw II: Flesh & Blood)

Trivia

• Charles bears similarities to the movie version of John Kramer. Both of them had brain cancer and were treated by Lawrence Gordon. In both cases, the tumor had entered a terminal state by that time because it was diagnosed too late.
