Caroline Cave (born January 25, 1974) is a Canadian film, television, and stage actress best known for her roles in This Beautiful City, One Week, and Cra$h & Burn.
Early Life[]
Caroline Cave was born and raised in West Vancouver, British Columbia. Classical piano and ballet were her earliest artistic pursuits. At age 15, she was invited to study dance at the prestigious Banff Centre and in the elite mentorship program at Ballet British Columbia. Cave was drawn to theatre in her senior year, followed by formal training at The BFA Acting Conservatory - University of Alberta, at The Royal National Theatre Studio in London, and with such esteemed theatre artists as Larry Moss, Kelly McEvenue, Selina Cadell, and Toby Jones. She later married Pepe Diligenti, with whom she has two kids.
Career[]
Throughout her acting career, Cave won a Gemini/Canadian Screen Award for Lead Actress in a Dramatic Series for portraying attorney Catherine Scott in the series Cra$h & Burn. Appearances at The Toronto International Theatre Festival included the feature films Six Figures, One Week, and This Beautiful City, for which she also received the ACTRA Award for Lead Actress. In 2004, she won a Dora Award for her Toronto performance in The Syringa Tree and a Jessie Award in 2006 for her Vancouver performance in the same play.
