Biography[]
Early Life[]
Amanda Young was a young woman who was addicted to heroin. One day, however, she almost died of an overdose. After that incident, she was taken to a hospital. During her stay at the clinic, she was observed by another patient named John Kramer, who had been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. Therefore, the latter was furious as Amanda had risked her life because of her addiction.
Eventually, John chose to spend the remaining time of his life testing other people's will to live, hoping that this would convince them to value their lives and the lives of those around them. He selected his fellow patients to become his first test subjects and observed his future victims, including Amanda. (Saw: Rebirth)
