Allen, William Easton's secretary and file clerk, were victims forced to take part in his second game. They stood on retractable ledges with barbed wire nooses around their necks and with their hands tied so they couldn't untie the noose, while William held the ends of two chains connected to the ledges. In order to move on, he would have to drop one chain and let that person die. He was presented with information that Addy was diabetic and in poor health but had a family, while Allen was in good health but had no loved ones to leave behind.

The chains were gradually reeled in, making it harder to William to keep holding them both; he finally chose to save Addy. The second William let go of Allen's chain, Allen looked at his hands and screamed at William for killing him instead of Addy. The wire noose then cut Allen's throat and strangled him to death when his ledge retracted
